Cameroon name Eto'o's son in World Cup Squad


Samuel Eto’o son has been named in the Cameroon squad for the forthcoming FIFA Under-17 World Cup in Brazil.

Etienne Eto’o who is currently captain of Real Mallorca U-17 side says he is desperate to prove his worth in the tournament and help the team achieve their goals.

"Even if my father is a big number nine, I do not feel any different from you. I’m nothing more,” Eto’o junior said in a video message released by the Cameroon Football Federation.

"I’m coming here to help you and be a positive member of the squad.”

Samuel Eto’o, the father is the Cameroon all-time top scorer, scoring 56 times in 118 caps for the national team.
