Bianca Ojukwu Celebrates Dr Kate Anolue, The New Mayor Of The Borough Of Enfield, London

Our very own Dr Kate Anolue, 70 was sworn in this past week as the new Mayor Of the Borough Of Enfield, London.
Ada Orumba, as she is fondly called who started out as a midwife in her village at Umudalla, Nanka is a great inspiration to women all over Africa, and indeed, the world.
She joined the Labour Party in the UK, and remarkably, this is her second coming as Mayor Of Enfield Council, having served in this capacity in 2012.
Mayor Kate, as we fondly call her is a brilliant, vivacious, elegant and enthralling woman, full of zest and passion for improving lives and bringing value to her engagements. Most commendably, she is an active volunteer and contributor to Nigerian Diaspora initiatives and strongly identifies with Igbo women associations and charitable programs (as some of the pictures below testify).
Congratulations, Our Sister, Ada Orumba, Adaure!!! You have indeed made us all proud. Here’s wishing you God’s guidance and divine wisdom through this tenure.

Please join me and other proud Igbo women worldwide in offering hearty congratulations!

By Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu Ojukwu
