Ubi Franklin Implies That Iyanya Assaulted Yvonne Nelson

Ubi Franklin has just implied that Iyanya might have assaulted Yvonne Nelson, this is coming after Iyanya claimed Ubi assaulted Emma Nyra.

As we all know, there is an ongoing feud between former partners Iyanya and Ubi Franklin of Made Men Music Group, MMG.

In a recent interview published by Native, Ubi Franklin telling his own side of the story refuted all Iyanya’s claims of fraud and dishonest.

When the interviewer, Joey Akan, brought up the widely reported story of him physically assaulting Emma, Ubi Franklin answered saying:

“Have you asked Iyanya what happened between him and Yvonne Nelson?”

Joey Akanr went on to get a confirmation but He only decided to imply, saying:

“(Laughs) It’s, not my mouth you’d hear that thing from. I promised not to say anything or put Iyanya out.”

While speaking with Native Magazine, in an earlier interview, Iyanya said he promised to give Emma Nyra his full support, after he witnessed Ubi Franklin (who she was dating then) assault her. See what he said below;

You know him ehn, he always has his ‘bro i’m sorry.., you know…it happened…and it happened because I was not very sure.’ I was not very what? You brought me a paper and I signed it. You took the one I signed and did whatever you did and put your own. Long story short, we went back and forth they now corrected it. But by that time, I don already give up on everything. I con dey live with one kind fear say men, this guy can actually kill you. If this nigga dey watch you dey spend all this money, this nigga dey watch you dey put in all this creativity, this nigga dey watch you dey do all these things, this nigga know say you get two sisters wey you dey take care of wey no get papa.

This nigga knows all this poo but this nigga still kinda thing. So if say, God no use me save us for that flight, all of us go die, him family go enjoy all my sweat. At that point too, the label was shaking. People didn’t want to invest because people don already know the story. You know, from that day till I left Triple MG, Ubi was my enemy, but we dey together. I played safe because I saw what he did to Emma Nyra. I saw how he oppressed her when she left him. You understand? I saw all the stunts wey him go dey do. You know how all this industry poo dey be.

I Will Correct Lapses Of My First Tenure – Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari has pledged to correct lapses of his first tenure in his final lap in office, which begins on May 29.

He gave the assurance when he received the leadership of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) led by the National President, Chris Isiguzo, in the State House, Abuja.

The president, while responding to the many issues raised by the journalists bordering on insecurity, lopsided appointments, freedom of speech among others, said that he is going to improve on what he has done in the last four years.

Acording to him, “there will be a change, a positive change.”

Buhari also appreciated the role journalists play in a democracy, describing them as unique set of professionals.

Speaking to State House Correspondents on the reason for the visit, Isiguzo said: “Basically, we have come to congratulate the president on his re-election as the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and of course, to also make it clear to him that to whom much is given, much more is also expected.

“He’s gone through the first-four years; by May 29, he will be through with that and he’s been given yet another mandate to lead Nigeria for another four years. We also made it clear to him that some of the major challenges we have had in the past four years, this is an opportunity for him to correct them, especially when it comes to the area of inclusiveness, carrying everybody along.

“That is the spirit of federal character principle that is enshrined in our constitution; that he’s got to carry people along, and of course, we talked about the security problem that we have, not just in the North-east, but even the banditry in the North-west; in Katsina, Zamfara and Sokoto.

“We challenged him to ensure that the security architecture is overhauled to be able to effectively tackle these challenges that we have. We commended him for the fact that, as we speak now, there is no part of the country that is under the control of insurgents which is good, unlike when he came on board. But we also told him that it is very very important that terrorism is completely stamped out – effectively tackled and not technically degraded. We want it to be out of our national life.

“That was what we told him. Coming to us, we drew his attention to the fact that journalism profession has become more like a challenge to all of us. The problem that we are having every now and then, and of course, freedom of expression, it does appear that it is taking flight and we said if we are indeed a democratic nation, journalists must be given free hands to ply their trade.

“A situation where there is clampdown and harassment doesn’t speak well for Nigeria as a democracy and we told the president that.”

On the recent elections and the role of Nigerians in demanding accountability, the NUJ president said: “Well, there is this post that has been trending on social media that a group of people that elects a bad leader are not victims. They are accomplices. Now that we have voted in our leaders, it is also incumbent on us to put them under check. You don’t elect people and not bother about what they do. You only wait for them to bring bags of rice, bags of salt. A lawmaker that has been elected is coming to donate Keke NAPEP and Okada to you. That is not the reason he was elected. So, it is not only the journalists that will hold leaders accountable, the citizens must also hold accountable those that have been elected at all times.”

Hadiza Isma El-Rufai: "My Husband Has Been Substituted With Fresh, Relaxed One"

The Kaduna State First Lady, Hadiza Isma El-Rufai, has cried out to Kaduna State people to help her get her real husband back. She disclosed these on twitter while claiming her husband El-Rufai who is the governor has being substituted with a fresh and relaxed husband.

We all recalled rumours of Governor El-Rufai death on several social media platform not Zenzireporters but the governor returned to Nigeria on Wednesday after a brief holiday aboard.

She disclosed her funny capture on twitter, mocking those who claimed her husband was dead. Read below.

"Hey KD people, I need your help. I know you won’t believe me, but they’ve definitely substituted my husband. The one they returned to me is too fresh and relaxed."

Ambode: From Governor-General To Political Orphan - By Temidayo Akinsuyi

“I recognize the Governor of Lagos State who by my own assessment is the Governor General of Nigeria. I say so for a very good reason. It is not a question of age of the occupant of that office or his tenure. It is simply an attestation to the fact that the economy of Lagos is about the summation of the economies of 30 states in Nigeria. One will be deceiving himself not to recognize that fact” – Rauf Aregbesola

The above was the statement made by former Osun State governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, in July 2017 when the outgoing governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode, paid him a courtesy visit at Government House at Oke-Fia, Osogbo.

To many political observers, that Ambode is worthy of that appellation is not in doubt. He performed excellently well to the satisfaction of Lagosians, including those who voted for the opposition in the 2015 governorship election in Lagos State. His track record for quality service delivery became a reference point in good governance in Nigeria. While many criticised the All Progressives Congress (APC) – led Federal Government for slow performance owing to President Muhammadu Buhari’s health challenge, which necessitated his absence from the country for a considerable period of time, Ambode was seen as the poster boy of the APC and many had even predicted that his re-election would be a done deal.

At his official declaration to run on October 24, 2014, Ambode, highly favoured by Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to succeed outgoing governor, Babatunde Fashola said,

“I am resolved to offer you genuine leadership that will be accountable with all the principles of good governance, a government of inclusion that will not leave any race or gender behind. No matter your age, sex, tribe or any other status, as long as you reside in Lagos, we will make Lagos liveable for you”.

Similar to this was part of his inaugural speech on May 29, 2015 that endeared him to many Lagosians, when he said, “Whether you are Igbo, Efik, Ijaw, Hausa, Fulani, a foreigner, whoever you are, so far you live or work in Lagos, our government will work for you and you will be adequately represented.”

The very first day he was sworn in as governor, Ambode set out to work by making four key appointments. Tunji Bello, a former Commissioner for Environment in the Babatunde Fashola administration, was named the Secretary to the State Government; Samuel Olukunle Ojo was appointed as the Chief of Staff, Abiodun Bamgboye was appointed the Principal Private Secretary while Habib Aruna, a thoroughbred and highly experienced journalist and former Editor of Sunday Independent was appointed as the Chief Press Secretary (CPS).

The first three months of his administration was a very turbulent one. The governor had barely settled down for business of governance when his administration was rocked by two major hurdles – insecurity and traffic chaos.

Violent crimes like armed robberies, kidnappings and cult related killings, among several vices rocked the commercial capital of the nation. To make the already bad situation worse, Lagosians were daily stuck in intractable traffic jams, while refuse heaps resurfaced in several parts of the city.

Angry Lagosians caught in the web of violent crimes and debilitating traffic jams, quickly wrote off the governor, questioning his ability to step into the big shoes left by his predecessors. But the governor explained that the slow start was to enable him understand the terrain and tailor out his strategies to change the face of Lagos forever. And indeed, he did just that.

The story soon changed from criticism and insult by disappointed Lagosians who had initially written him off to that of accolades for his sterling performance.

In the span of three years, he has been able to achieve a lot of successes that many Lagosians are in agreement that the governor has done a great job. From the health sector to education, security, infrastructure, tourism and agriculture, the governor’s impact is everywhere to be seen and appreciated. He has proved to be a good manager of resources, which is not surprising given the fact that he is an accountant.

One of the landmark projects of the governor, which won him plaudits even from the opposition parties in Lagos is the Light- Up Lagos project, which is a major effort of the Ambode administration’s drive to light up every nook and cranny of the state so that Lagosians can move about with ease at any time of the day and to prevent crimes usually carried out by criminal elements under the cover of darkness. With the major public roads in Lagos at nights now brilliantly lit up, the dread of driving after dusk gave way to some ease, especially in areas like Oshodi, Mile 2, Ojota, Iyana Ipaja, Ikeja and other axis.

The governor also performed creditably well in the area of security, equipping the police and other security agencies in Lagos. In September 2015, he donated equipment worth N4.765billion to the Lagos State Police Command. One of his landmark achievements is also putting an end to the activities of the dreaded Badoo cult group, which was giving residents of Ikorodu sleepless nights.

Lagosians will also not forget the construction of 114 roads across the 20 local governments and 37 local council development areas in the state, which was commissioned across the state by September 2016. Also noteworthy is the construction of pedestrian bridges in several expressways, including Berger, Ojota, Magodo- Alausa and other areas.

Commending Ambode at a function recently, former President Olusegun Obasanjo said, “I can see the little things you are doing here and there to make life worth living for the people of Lagos. Keep it up.”

However, while there is no gainsaying that the governor performed, many believed that he has a poor human relationship with a lot of critical stakeholders, including party chieftains, who worked for his victory and especially the media.

While many state governors will organise quarterly meetings with the media to engage them on how far they have gone and rub minds on areas of improvement, Ambode believes this is unnecessary. It was also alleged that he usually shuns invitation to events organised by media houses.

A chieftain of the party also claimed that when Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, gave out his daughter’s hand in wedding in Lagos, Ambode was invited but he failed to show up while Bill Gates, founder of Microsoft, was in attendance. He said till today, there is no cogent reason given for the governor’s absence at the occasion.

At the end, despite receiving numerous endorsements for a second term, including from all the National Assembly members in Lagos, 57 local governments chairmen in the state, members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), the party leaders in the state accused Ambode of sidelining them in the scheme of things moved against him and chose Babajide Sanwo-Olu as their preferred candidate.

Aside making himself inaccessible, the party leaders also claimed most of the governor’s policies gravely affected their economic lifelines, adding that many of their members are unhappy with his alleged high-handedness.

Speaking on the factors responsible for Ambode’s rejection, Joe Igbokwe, the publicity secretary of the APC in Lagos said, “Nobody is disputing the fact that Ambode has performed, but I think in the human angle of it, he failed in some areas.

“People feel that he does not take advice. Elders say he does not pick their calls or listen to suggestions, or once he makes up his mind on something, he goes into it. And these are the things; playing the real politics is the problem. For you to have democracy, people will have to live. You need all these people’s votes. If there is nobody visiting Lagos, there would be no politics.

“Politics is all about people, especially the downtrodden. You can’t dismiss that with a wave of the hand. But people complained – leaders, commissioners and special advisers and these things go to our leader every day.”

However, recent developments in the party point to the fact that Ambode has put the whole episode behind him as he assiduously worked for President Buhari’s re-election. He also vigorously campaigned for Sanwo-Olu, the governor-elect. There are speculations that President Buhari may consider him for a key role in his government in the next dispensation

NNPC Begins Rehabilitation Of Port Harcourt Refinery

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation on Thursday announced the formal commencement of the first phase of the rehabilitation of the 210,000 barrels per day capacity Port Harcourt refinery.

Port Harcourt refinery complex also houses the 60,000 barrels per day old refinery that was built in 1965 and the 150,000 barrels per day new refinery, inaugurated in 1989.

The Group Managing Director, NNPC, Maikanti Baru, flagged-off the formal commencement of the rehabilitation work on the facility at the premises of the refinery in Port Harcourt on Thursday, 19 years after the last Turn Around Maintenance exercise of the nation’s premier refining plant.

NNPC Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division, Ndu Ughamadu, in a statement issued in Abuja, said the project would be executed by Milan-based Maire Tecnimont S.p.A, in collaboration with its Nigerian affiliate, Tecnimont Nigeria.

NNPC said it was engaging Eni/NAOC as Technical Advisor to support the rehabilitation of Port Harcourt Refining Company and that NNPC/PHRC would leverage Eni’s extensive refinery supply chain network and warehouses to procure critical materials for the programme.

The corporation’s spokesperson noted that the first phase of the rehabilitation contract, which would run for six months, would involve detailed integrity check and equipment inspection of the Port Harcourt refinery complex beginning from the end of March 2019.

According to Ughamadu, the integrity test will come as a forerunner to the second phase of the rehabilitation project which entails a comprehensive revamp of the complex aimed at restoring the refinery to a minimum of 90 per cent capacity utilisation.

He noted that subject to the successful completion of the integrity checks, Phase Two of the project would be executed on an Engineering Procurement Construction basis by Tecnimont in collaboration with the original builders of the plant, JGC of Japan.

Speaking on behalf of the contractors, Antonio Vella, Chief Officer, Upstream, Eni, said all the companies involved would deploy all available modern resources to ensure effective upgrade of the plant.

Vella stated that with the commitment of all parties involved, it was certain that NNPC would be able to celebrate the revamp of the PHRC that would lead to its full capacity utilisation on schedule and in full safety.

Speaking on behalf of the workers’ unions, the Branch Chairman of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association, Odor Ayiri, and Chairman of the National Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers, Dibiah Joseph, jointly pledged the support of workers to ensuring a smooth turnaround of the facility.

Recall that NNPC had to abandon its earlier funding strategy by its DSDP Term Contractors/Consortia due to onerous conditions demanded after more than 12 months of negotiations.

NNPC resorted to immediate direct funding from internal cash flows while it approached the financial markets for debt financing.

NNPC further segmented the rehabilitation to begin with Port Harcourt refinery complex and then progress to Warri and Kaduna refinery complexes using the same methodology.

VAT Hike Will Impoverish Nigerians - Take It Back Movement

The Take it Back Movement seizes this medium to state its outright rejection of the government's proposition to issue a 50% increase on the Value Added Tax (VAT) on commodities, an increase from 5% to 7.5%.

We deem it to be thoughtless, cruel and worthy of total condemnation by all who seek to see a Nigeria that works for all and not for a privileged few. The TakeitBack Movement is battle prepared to join the hungry and angry Nigerian people in resisting this renewed attempt at subjecting the Nigerian people to a new depth of abject poverty.

Last year, the Nigerian Labour Congress embarked on numerous protests and strike actions to press for minimum wage to be increased to 30 thousand naira. After denying the average Nigerian of a wage increase for many years, the Buhari-led government, in a transparent bid to garner support in the upcoming elections, made a very reluctant concession to the demands of Labour and increased the minimum wage.

The 2019 elections, unlike previous elections, had been issue based and the question of minimum wage was going to play a crucial role in whipping up workers' sentiment - especially at the time the AAC's Presidential Candidate, Omoyele Sowore, had brought the subject matter to the front burner of the campaign.

While Atiku's PDP was fronting anti-poor programs of selling public property to enrich his friends and his APC counterpart was busy assaulting Nigerian workers with economically insignificant minimum wage, Omoyele Sowore was the only candidate in the race that included his plans to pay workers a living wage of a hundred thousand naira as a major campaign agenda.

The blackmail that it was going to lead to inflation was immediately and intellectually deflated by the campaign. Our campaign reminded the public that while Nigeria had not witnessed a minimum wage increase since 2011, the rate of inflation between 2012 after increased fuel pump price and 2015, and on to 2019 upon the emergence of Buhari and his anti-poor policies has increased steadily to a maddening crescendo.

The campaign showed how the government, in collaborative relationships with big corporations, used inflation and other artificial policies as excuses to target the living standards of the poor while amassing more wealth for themselves, families and rich friends.

The Buhari regime is one that gives with the right hand and robs with the left. As soon as the National Assembly passed the hard-won minimum wage increment into law, the incumbent government announced a VAT increase to “fund the new minimum wage” – an amount that is still comparatively a slave wage when compared to other African countries with substantively fewer resources.

The genius of this new tool of oppression is in its simplicity: a VAT increase will lead to a hike in the price of commodities. This will further push inflation rate to a whole new level, thereby proving the diabolical reasoning of the Buhari regime and completely diminishing the purchasing power of workers. The VAT increase, not the increase in minimum wage, will set the tone of poverty and unforeseen suffering for the next four years.

It is no secret that the Nigerian government is the most expensive in the entire world; a government that oversaw Nigeria slipping into the position of world’s poverty capital on their watch. Despite a yearly increase in the amount used to maintain the many wasteful government bureaucracies, the government did not blackmail itself with the increment of VAT. With all non-oil government parastatals telling us that they are making and generating revenues to the tune of trillions, we can't but conclude that the government intends to be deliberate in shoving this level of unimaginable sufferings down the throats of hardworking Nigerians.

The TakeitBack Movement believes that this is one of the many more poverty-inducing programs the Buhari government will be unleashing on the suffering people of Nigeria. We have been vindicated in our declaration that Buhari and APC’s Next Level refers to the next level of poverty.

It is on this note that the TakeitBack movement is calling on well-meaning Nigerians, the Labour movement, and the civil society to join us as we collectively resist this socio-economic coup and deliberate conspiracy against the living standard of the Nigerian people.
We cannot continue to fold our hands and allow the same people who never care for the people's welfare to attempt to punish workers for demanding what rightly belongs to us.

We propose:

That the Labour movement (as led by NLC, TUC, ULC and FIWON) call for discussions all over the country to prepare for mass actions over the expected failure to implement the #30,000 minimum wage, and also the expected delays in paying across the states.
That the civil society should start unity talks in conjunction with the Labour movement and revolutionary parties like AAC to start mass resistance on the VAT increments.

We must focus our efforts on taking back our country through pro-active means. The Buhari/APC government cannot continue to insult us in this manner any longer.

Nigeria MUST progress.

Health Benefits Of Drinking Water Early In The Morning

water in an empty stomach in the morning can be immensely beneficial for the body

We tend to complicate things when it comes to taking care of our health. A few simple steps can go a long way in taking care of our health, and one easy way of ensuring it is by drinking sufficient water in empty stomach first thing in the morning.

Not only does it clear your stomach, it goes a long way in reducing the risk of a number of diseases.

Firstly, it purifies the colon and it improves the stomach’s chances to absorb nutrients properly. A better digestive system automatically takes care of a lot of other things.

It is also one of the secrets behind a glowing skin, as water removes the toxins from the blood. Drinking water also improves the creation of new blood cells as well as muscle cells, and helps you in losing weight.

Also, make sure not to eat anything for a while after you drink water in the morning. This water treatment therapy has no side effects and boosts your metabolism greatly.

About four glasses of water (one litre) on an average daily would be great. If it feels too much in the beginning, you can start off slowly and then gradually increase the intake!

We Are Disappointed With Nigeria’s 2019 General Elections — US

The United States government says it is disappointed by the scale of irregularities in the Nigerian 2019 general elections.

The U.S. government said from the reports it garnered from observers groups; voter intimidation, vote buying, interference by security forces, and violence marred the electoral process in parts of the country.
It said this in a statement sent to PREMIUM TIMES on Thursday.

It, however, urged stakeholders and security services to ensure a free, fair, credible, transparent, and peaceful election process ahead of the Saturday supplementary governorship election and in future elections.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on March 12 announced supplementary governorship elections in states where it declared the polls inconclusive.

The states include Adamawa, Bauchi, Benue, Kano, Plateau, and Sokoto. But the supplementary governorship polls will hold in only five states on Saturday due to judicial interventions.

Also in the statement, the U.S government extended its condolences to the families of those who lost their lives during the election process, adding that it would continue to support the national democratic process.
”As noted by many observer groups in their preliminary reports, we too were disappointed by the low voter turnout as well as credible reports of voter intimidation, vote buying, interference by security forces, and violence in some locations.

”As the 2019 electoral cycle comes to an end, we urge all stakeholders to work towards a free, fair, credible, transparent, and peaceful process, especially for the many Nigerians across the country who again will go to polls on Saturday.

”We encourage all stakeholders, including INEC, political parties, and the security services, to continue to improve the electoral process for future elections.
”We are saddened by those acts of violence and extend our deepest sympathy to the families of those who lost their lives, including those who worked for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the security services.”

The statement stressed that the United States has no preferred candidates in the election, adding that it would remain committed to working together to achieve a mutual goal for both countries.

”The United States supports a democratic process where the will of the Nigerian people is reflected in the results. As long-time friends of Nigeria, we continue to follow closely the still ongoing elections. We do not have a preferred party or candidate.

”We look to Nigeria as an important leader on the African continent. As a democratic partner of Nigeria, the United States remains committed to working together to achieve our mutual goals of peace and prosperity for the citizens of both our countries.”

‘I Have Photos Of All The Married Women Iyanya Has Slept With!’ – Ubi Franklin

The beef between Iyanya and Ubi Franklin has finally gotten to another level as the CEO of Made Men Music Group record label claiming that he has the list of all the married women Iyanya has slept with.
He disclosed this during an interview with TheNative Magazine

Ubi Franklin additionally talked about the claims he is at present facing of him ‘whipping’ Emma Nyra when she was signed to his label and the Non-divulgence understanding they signed that restricts her from talking else she’ll hazard paying him 10million naira.

Read the entire interview below:

What Happened With Emma Nyra?

We didn’t agree. You see, Emma Nyra’s situation, I cannot say much about it because I am binded by contract not to say anything about our situation. I am not going to say anything about it. Because if I say anything about it, I have a legal suit that I’m going to pay 10 million naira. So, I’m not going to say anything about Emma Nyra. If she does, I’d have to collect 10 million because me and Emma Nyra don’t really have any problem. Even when she had the twins, we spoke. I even sent her a message. So, we don’t have problems. These problems are problems Iyanya is trying to create to hype himself up.

Tell Me What You Know About What Transpired Between Iyanya And Temple Music?

Yeah, it was a one-on-one conversation we had at his house. He showed me a heated WhatsApp chat with the owner of Temple, them. That’s why I was able to believe he was having problems with Temple. When he wanted to leave Temple, I told him, ‘Don’t leave Temple the way you left Made Men’. Which is, relieve yourself, settle everything and go. I said, ‘The fact that you want to leave Temple doesn’t mean that you should fight them. It would now become constant. It can’t be like it’s the same thing you do everywhere you go. People would come and be putting some rubbish things around it.

People you collected money from to pay your house rent when your landlady chased you out. They gave you a car. You were stuck in America they paid for you. Have you spoken to Temple? Ask Iyanya if he told me that he had issues with Temple and he needed to clear up his contract with N60 million. Ask him if he told me that.

N60 Million, To Exit His Contract?

Yes. And I told him I was going to raise the money. Before I raised that money I spoke him. It took me 24 hours or less to raise that money. When I raised that money I started calling him, he was not picking up his phone so I just left it. So for me, you see all these things Iyanya is saying ehn, when I look at it I just laugh. Because I have everything to prove. I have everything to show. If this is what Iyanya is going to do after all my hard work. Now, you know what? People would comment and say ‘This Ubi guy, Ubi is like this, Ubi is like that’. You know why they’d say that?

All artist managers are hated. You know why? We do the dirty job. So I don’t expect anybody to like me. When we leave these artists and go that’s when you start seeing who these artists are directly and you start to see who they are. Please, what did he say about Emma Nyra?

That You Had Problems In Your Relationship And You Physically Assaulted Her Repeatedly..

Have you asked Iyanya what happened between him and Yvonne Nelson?

Was Iyanya Physically Abusing Yvonne Nelson?

(Laughs) It’s, not my mouth you’d hear that thing from. I promised not to say anything or put Iyanya out.

He Said He Saw You Beating Emma Nyra?

Did He Advise Her To Leave You?

Bro see, Iyanya is a big liar. He has been saying it for many years that he is going to use Emma Nyra against me. You understand? I did every work for Emma to make sure. I’m not going to speak about Emma Nyra unless she talks. We have a contract binding us not to say anything. Why didn’t he say on his interview that I beat up Emma Nyra?

He Did Say That…

Bro, I’d advise you not to. Because I would put out all the married women he slept with. Their pictures side by side for me. Bro I don’t want to talk. Because if you allow me to do that to him, I’d drag him through the whole of this country. I’m not scared of poo. What I want about this matter is for people to see clarity. If Emma Nyra has issues she would come and say it herself. Emma Nyra is a mother now. I think her focus is different. And she even wouldn’t want to be involved in all this. I wish Iyanya was a father. If he was a father, most of these things he is saying he would not do it. When I kept watching his interviews I kept laughing. Bro, don’t let me do this to this to this guy. If you’re writing your story, take out the Emma Nyra situation because if you’re writing about something like that, Emma Nyra needs to speak for herself and with the way I and Emma Nyra are tight, we cannot speak about each other. We had our whole issues and the issues were settled and I have a legal document to back it. So for me, leave her out of this and focus on something else. Write your post. See, I never really wanted to get to this point bro. For everything that happens, there are two sides to the story.

Do You Think You Treated Everyone Fairly?

I treated everybody fair. I’m not perfect bro. See, there’s nobody even you talking to me right now that would say they don’t have issues with people. Check the whole entertainment industry. Am I the first person that an artist is leaving my record label or an artist is having issues with me? I’m not the first now. When did artists start leaving record labels? Exactly, let’s be very diplomatic about this thing. Did they say that I had their money, I ate it and I didn’t give them?

It Was Just About You Not Treating Them Right That They Had Expectations And Those Expectations Were Not Met.

Okay, what expectations?

A More Hands-On Promotion And Marketing Perhaps?

Can I ask you a question? Iyanya says he was a partner and he was investing so why are they not blaming that on Iyanya? Exactly. Why is it that it is Ubi they are blaming it on? Why is it that they are all coming together to fight? Do you understand where this thing is going? You said you are a partner abi? You were investing. So why are they not fighting you? Is it that you gave me money to push your music and I didn’t do it? So you see the twist? Now, If they say that the label is not treating them right who is the label? Ubi, Iyanya. Why are they not fighting Iyanya?

Maybe He Has Done Nothing To Warrant That?

All these people talking, how much did they make me? Chibbz, how much did we make from him? The only person that can talk and I would respond to the person is only Iyanya and Baci. I know Selebobo would not say anything to you because for a fact he doesn’t have anything to say to you.

What Role Did You Play In The Tensions Between Iyanya And Tekno?

He (Iyanya) says Tekno is rude and ill-mannered. The issue between me and Iyanya that made me and Iyanya break up finally was that I hired a driver for Iyanya. Iyanya and the driver fought and he fired the driver. And Tekno hired the driver. Tekno was living on his own. So one day I now went to meet Iyanya that just in case you come to Nigeria before me, what I just heard is that Ken your former driver now works for Tekno. Tekno, on the other hand, said he saw this guy on the road, he had a baby at home and he decided to hire him. And he asked him what happened between you and Iyanya, and the guy explained his side. So he was like let me just hire the guy because the person you know is better than the person you don’t know. And the guy worked with Tekno for a very long time.

So Iyanya started accusing me, of using Tekno to disrespect him. That how would I know that Tekno is about to hire his own driver that he sacked and I allowed that happen? That’s how he turned and said he wants to leave the record label. Every time issues happen he says that I am the one not making them, Tekno, to respect him. I’m like bro, Tekno is a man of his own. Everybody, they are men. And I don’t think any of these guys disrespect you, they respect you. From Selebobo they respect you. They call him “Baba.” They don’t call him by name. Do you understand? They call him Baba. They don’t call him by name. Ask him what happened between him and Tekno and what happened between him and the driver Tekno hired? Do you understand?

Already, everything he said is a lie. A lot of the things he said are lies. So, there is a legal document that is going to be sent to him soon for him to retract everything he has said because he is lying. Whatever I tell you I have proof. You see the story I told you about these women? I have proof of it and I warned him. I said ‘Listen, I’m going to spoil your career, let it go’. Do you understand? I’m going to let it go. Now he is the one going to tell you that I beat up Emma Nyra.

See What Happens When An Airplane Runs Out Of Fuel Mid-Air

Guess you will be wondering what happens to an airplane if fuel supply get depleted during flight way above the sky.
Airplanes don't just fall out of the sky if fuel supply finishes which causes the engine to shutdown. Airplanes can glide few miles with no engine powered on. If the airplane is high at altitude, Oxygen mask will drop off the cabin so people can breathe easily till the airplane descends a little.
When an airplane runs out of fuel the engines stop. The engines provide all the electric energy and hydraulic pressure needed for a flight, so the airplane just shutdown.

There are incidents which took place due to insufficient supply of fuel in an airplane.

Boeing 767 -233 of Air Canada also known as Gimli Glider pictured above successfully glided to emergency landing on a decommissioned runway in Gimli, Canada that had been converted to drag racing strip after losing it's whole fuel middle of the flight, the photo was taken July 23, 1983.

This was caused by a unit conversion error, Most of the world uses the metric system i.e. metres, liters etc. While a few countries e.g Liberia, Myanmar uses the imperial system of measurement i.e. gallons, pounds etc.

Canada was one of the latter countries until 1970 when the nation began to change over. Metrication (as it was called) took some time fifteen years and maybe even more. One of the industries to change over late in the process was the airline industry, which given the expense and longevity of the equipment makes sense. On July 23, 1983, Air Canada Flight 143 was one of the earlier flights using the new metric units.

Unfortunately, Air Canada was undergoing a second change at the same time — smaller flight crews. Typically, there were three core members of the crew — the pilot, the co-pilot, and a flight engineer. Flight 143, through, didn’t have a flight engineer; the pre-flight fueling protocol therefore fell to the pilots. That protocol required them to convert volume (liters) into mass (kilograms or pounds, depending on the system you use) in order to figure out how much fuel you need to add to your plane. And they did exactly what they should have done — except they got the labels wrong. Instead of figuring out how many liters the plane needed to hit the required payload of 22,300 kg, the crew calculated how many liters were needed to hit 22,300 pounds.

Instead of 22,300 kg (27,770 L) of fuel, they had 22,300 pounds (12,598 L) on board — 10,100 kg, about half the amount required to reach their destination.

Luckily, the pilot and co-pilot were better at the flying part than the math part of the job. The pilot already have ten years of glider training under his belt, and his co-pilot had trained at Gimli during his days with the Canadian Air Force — and therefore knew the surroundings quite well. Together, the pair were able to land the 767 — gliding the last 60 miles (100 km) — touching down just an hour or so before nightfall. The plane — the Gimli Glider, as it’d henceforth be known — suffered some damage to its nose and blew out some tires, as seen above, but the passengers were pretty much okay. Ten people suffered minor injuries but, miraculously, there were no fatalities.

The Aviation Safety Board of Canada reported that Air Canada management was responsible for "corporate and equipment deficiencies". Their report praised the flight and cabin crews for their "professionalism and skill". It noted that Air Canada "neglected to assign clearly and specifically the responsibility for calculating the fuel load in an abnormal situation."It further found that the airline had failed to reallocate the task of checking fuel load (which had been the responsibility of the flight engineer on older aircraft flown with a crew of three.) The safety board also said that Air Canada needed to keep more spare parts, including replacements for the defective fuel quantity indicator, in its maintenance inventory as well as provide better, more thorough training on the metric system to its pilots and fuelling personnel.

After almost 25 years of service, C-GAUN flew its last revenue flight on January 1, 2008. On January 24, 2008, the Gimli Glider took its final voyage, AC7067, from Montreal Trudeau to Tucson International Airport before flying to its retirement in the Mojave Desert in California

In April 2013, the Gimli Glider was offered for sale at auction, by a company called Collectable Cars, with an estimated price of CA$2.75–3 million. However, bidding only reached CA$425,000 and the lot was unsold.

According to a website dedicated to saving the aircraft, the Gimli Glider was scrapped in early 2014. Parts of the metal fuselage were made into luggage tags and are offered for sale by a California company, Moto Art.

EFCC Boss, Magu, Wants Inclusion Of Anti-graft Studies In School Curricula

In a bid to stem the tide of cyber crime among youths, especially undergraduates, acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu, has stressed the need to include anti-corruption studies in the curricula of institutions of higher learning in the country.

Magu, who fielded questions in Hausa during a special programme on Bond 92.9FM, in Lagos, said the commission has opened talks with the National University Commission (NUC) on the possibility of introducing anti-corruption courses in the curricula of higher institutions in the country.

“If we realise that corruption and economic and financial crimes can hinder a nation, then, it is not out of place to introduce this kind of course in our tertiary institutions, as an impetus to our drive to change the narrative on our campuses, as the undergraduates constitute the major actors in Internet crimes.

“By so doing, we would have literally opened the eyes of these students, who will, someday, hold positions of leadership in the affairs of the nation, to the inherent dangers in the vice. And in the end, they will turn out to be crusaders of anti-corruption war, with the nation being the overall beneficiary,” he said.

The anti-graft chief, who was represented by the commission’s Zonal Head in Lagos, Muhammed Rabo, assured that the commission is winning the war against the infamous Yahoo boys

“In fact, Internet fraudsters now know that it is no more business as usual. I can say this with all confidence.

“The clampdown is not only in Lagos; it is across the country, especially as we have now opened more offices,” he said.

He further said as part of efforts to discourage youths from engaging in the criminal practice, thecommission had been carrying out public advocacy and education against the commission of economic and financial crimes.

“We go into secondary schools to educate them about the consequences of crime, while also warning them to shun all forms of criminality, because it will always end in pains and sorrow,” he said.

Magu also described as untrue, the claim by some members of the public, that the commission had been selective in its operations.

He said the commission has always given equal attention to all petitions it received, adding that, “our doors are open to all Nigerians with genuine complaints that can be substantiated in law.

Adamawa Supplementary Elections Postponed Indefinitely - INEC

The supplementary election scheduled for Saturday, March 23, in Adamawa State has been postponed indefinitely,  we can authoritatively report.

Findings  showed that this is as a result of a suit filed against the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, by one Mustafa Shaba, the governorship candidate of the Movement for Restoration and Defence for Democracy (MRDD).

It was  previously reported that Shaba sued the commission over the omission of his party's logo on the electoral materials used for the March 9 governorship and State House of Assembly elections in the state.

The Resident Electorate Commissioner (REC) in Adamawa State, Kassiam Gaidam, had initially cited section 87 sub-section 10 of the electoral act, saying, “going by the electoral act, even court orders cannot stop any election at this point. Although we are not aware of any court restraining INEC, however let me tell you that court order(s) will not stop any election.”

however we gathered that, on Wednesday, Gaidam made a u-turn, saying that the commission had been served with court order to stop the supplementary election in the state.

He added that the court would determine the fate of the supplementary governorship and State House of Assembly elections.

“l want to confirm to you that today, indeed a court order was served on the commission's headquarters, and the commission in its usual very good tradition of compliance with court orders has sent appropriate notices, filed counter motions and counter originating sermon.

“We would be waiting to hear the outcome or the decision the court will take tomorrow,” Gaidam told newsmen.

On Thursday (today), Abdulazeez Waziri, a member of the panel presiding over the case, adjourned the matter till Tuesday next week.

Meanwhile, recall that the PDP was leading in the March 9 governorship election in the state before it was declared inconclusive by the electoral body.

Trader Moni Still On, To Reach 10 Million Traders - Federal Government

The presidency has said Trader Moni, a scheme to provide small funds for petty traders in Nigeria, is still on, and would reach 10 million petty traders in the country.

Laolu Akande, a senior special assistant to Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, made this disclosure late Wednesday, saying the government has continued giving the loans since the All Progressives Congress (APC) won the elections.

The presidency and the APC have been accused of buying votes under the guise of Trader Moni, and since winning the election, the scheme had been suspended.

But Akande said this is not the case, stating that 30,000 new traders have benefitted from the funds since the conclusion of the election.

“Trader Moni, the interest/collateral free N10,000 loans for petty traders is on course. Ignore reports to the contrary,” Akande said.

“In fact since after the elections, about 30,000 new loans have been given across ten states. Also since traders have started repaying, N15,000 disbursements have also commenced to petty traders in Lagos, Borno, Ogun & Oyo States.

“Recall that with Trader Moni once the initial N10,000 is repaid, the trader gets another N15,000, and then N20,000 up until about N100,000 loan.

“The Buhari administration is committed to this scheme and in the Next Level Implementation ten million Nigerian petty traders would benefit, i.e. a significant increase from the initially planned two million beneficiaries. And this is for all the 36 States and the FCT.”

The vice-president, who took the scheme to major markets across the nation before the elections, has since stopped the nationwide travel since the conclusion of the elections.

Trader Moni is an Empowerment Scheme of the Federal Government created specifically for petty traders and artisans across Nigeria.
